Hochdosierte MistelgesamtextraktinfusionSpekulation, Empirie und Wirksamkeitsnachweis aus allgemeinmedizinischer Sicht

Abstract: Highdosage mistletoe treatment is used since more than ten years in complementary malignoma therapy. Unless the evidence based structure of this concept there is much disturbance concerning effects or outcomes as well as efficacy presented by "best cases" publications. In our opinion it seems necessary to divide effects and outcomes from efficacy of the remedy in discussing best cases treated by mistletoe highdosage infusions (Vysorel). Moreover it seems necessary to discuss outcomes in mistletoe therapy convenient to the common primary care paradigma, looking at the doctor-patient-interaction, looking at the semiotic role of the mistletoe drug in this interaction.
