Abstract: Prof. Dr. H. Schicha Direktor der Klinik und Poliklinik für Nuklearmedizin der Universität zu Köln Zusammenfassung Nuklearmedizinische Diagnostik ist lokalisierte Funktionsdiagnostik. Die Informationen sind meist von denen bildgebender Verfahren wie Ultraschall und Röntgendiagnostik verschieden. Häufig ergänzen sich diese Verfahren. Die vorliegende Übersicht liefert einen Überblick über die szintigraphische Diagnostik folgender Organe: Endokrine Organe insbesondere Schilddrüse; Herz insbesondere Myokardperfusion und -vitalität Nierenfunktionsdiagnostik Lungenventilation und -perfusion Skelett Knochenmark und Entzündungen Gehirn Magen-Darm-Diagnostik sowie Tumor-Szintigraphie. Abstracts Diagnostic procedures in nuclear medicine - principles and indications Diagnostic procedures in nuclear medicine are functional studies of localized processes. The gathered informations are generally different to those acquired by imaging methods such as ultrasound and x-ray. Frequently both methods are complementary. This review provides survey about the scintigraphic diagnostic procedures of following Organs: Endocrine Organs especially the thyroid gland; heart especially myocardial perfusion and viability functional studies of the kidney lung ventilation and perfusion bone bone marrow and inflammation brain gastrointestinal tract diagnostics and tumour scintigraphy.
