Abstract: Neuroimaging has developed rapidly in the past several decades. Understanding of past as well as current techniques in child and adolescent neuroimaging provides insight into possible future advances in the field. Considerations of problems and limitations of the current technology help to define the directions of future developments. This field displays great potential as we strive to decipher the complexities of the human brain.
