The phenomenon of relationship in therapeutic and nursing practice

Abstract: With a side-glance on an increasingly impersonal medicine dressed partially on similar knowledge and performance, light is thrown on the experienced implication of individual relationship as, ''the other pole'' of medicine. This is done by means of a concrete report of experience in a Balint-group in which the particularity of living relationship - standing out to the usual functional and technical attitude - appears distinctly. The practicioner has accession to the special reality of relationship in his own psychic and physic space; starting from here a ''bridge'' can be built to the subjective experience of the single patient. The specific experience of relationship as professional dimension of each practice stays in a position of tension to the technical perspektive according to the particular medical department. A possible integration is affair of the single practicioner and occurs in his consciousness.
