Advances in group psychotherapy |
Journal/Book: Curr Opin Psychiatry. 1997; 10: 2-6 Boundary Row, London, England SE1 8NH. Rapid Science Publishers. 239-242.
Abstract: The group literature over the past year is predominantly descriptive in nature with relatively few empirical studies. It continues to lag behind the individual psychotherapy literature on process-outcome studies and there has been little attention to adapting current specific individual psychotherapy models to the group context. Nonetheless, promising new group applications are being reported and the use of groups is increasing.
