Coming to terms with laterality

Abstract: This commentary highlights the large and diverse vocabulary that is currently being used to describe human laterality. Although using some terms interchange ably appears reasonable, use of particular descriptors may warrant special attention in light of scope and context. Specific awareness is drawn to application of the terms specialization, lateralization asymmetry, acid dominance.
