Physical therapy and occupational therapy for pain management in children

Abstract: Children often are exposed to rehabilitation procedures that may result in pain. This article discusses the emerging roles of the physical therapist and occupational therapist on the pediatric pain management team. Guidelines for evaluation and intervention are proposed.
