Schizophrenia and cosmic insanity: A reply to Meehl and Freud

Abstract: Schizophrenia has been previously explained by various mechanistic combinations of nature and nurture. It is better explained by principles of thermodynamics: dissipative entropy; bifurcation; restabilization. All energy systems, both minded and unminded, must obey these laws as they follow the forward-moving arrow of time. Minded entities that fail to develop a sense of personal and interpersonal time risk losing their sense of impersonal time as call. They become three-dimensional beings and undergo personality extinction.
