The psychophysiology of cardiovascular reactivity reactivity |
Journal/Book: Int J Psychophysiol. 1997; 25: PO Box 211, 1000 AE Amsterdam, Netherlands. Elsevier Science BV. 7-11.
Abstract: In this presentation cardiovascular reactivity (CVR) was discussed in relation to several prominent hypotheses regarding its stability and personality and social factors that appear as moderators of this reactivity. A call for additional research on cardiovascular reactivity in women was made in view of the relatively scarce amount of work on CVR in women.
