An introduction to the work of the Acupuncture Research Resource Centre and ARRCBASE: a bibliographic database of acupuncture practice and research

Abstract: This paper describes the work of the Acupuncture Research Resource Centre (ARRC). Since 1994, the organization has responded to the needs of the acupuncture profession and has promoted awareness about the potential uses of acupuncture in health care in the UK. Its activities include an information service and bibliographic database, support for practitioner-researchers and the staging of research study days and symposia.
