Padma 28: A traditional and modern phytotherapeutical drug

Abstract: Padma 28 is a special mixture of herbs used in traditional Tibetan medicine. The mixture contains 20 different plants and parts of the plants respectively as well as calcium sulphate and camphor. In the past, the original recipe has undergone some modifications. Today, Padma 28 is manufactured in Switzerland in the form of tablets. In Denmark and Switzerland Padma 28 is registered as a remedy, in other countries like Austria or the Netherlands it is sold as a food supplement.Indications: symptoms of circulatory disturbances such as tingling, sensation, formication, a feeling of heaviness and tension in arms and legs, numbness of hands and feet. Clinical studies have shown, that with the use of Padma 28 the maximum distance of walking without pain was increased significantly.
