A place for chiropractic historians: the workshop to develop a chiropractic research agenda.
After a century of existence, the chiropractic profession has entered a new age of acceptance and accountability. With these privleges given by society have also come an increased responsibility in demonstrating cost effectiveness, validity and treatment effectiveness. The profession has taken this challenge seriously, creating a research agenda for the profession. Chiropractic historians, and in particular the Association for the History of Chiropractic, have a true role to play in the future of chiropractic by acting as consultants to research planners.
