Abstract: Eating behaviors and attitudes towards food in patients admitted for anorexia nervosa, anorexia-bulimia, or bulimia were analyzed based on data from daily eating diaries. Differences were found between the three groups, as well as changes during the hospital stay. These differences suggest that links between physical sensations, ideas, and feelings regarding food should be taken into account during future studies of eating disorders.
