Advances in Down's anomaly |

Abstract: Advances continue to be made in a number of basic research and health issues relating to people with Down syndrome. Particular areas include communication skills in children, medical and psychiatric morbidity, ageing and adaptive behaviour and Alzheimer's disease. Recently published research is categorized into these areas and reviewed. Comments on future research issues are given.
