State of the art on the development of the implantable hearing device for partial hearing loss

Abstract: This article summarizes the state of the art of the implantable hearing devices for partial hearing loss. Devices such as temporal bone stimulators and piezoelectric and electromagnetic middle and inner ear transducers are discussed. Cochlear implants are excluded.
