Abstract: Oncology and critical care patients have unique and complex problems. With the explosion of technology and advances in medicine, many intensive care units are seeing an increase in oncology patients. Intensive care units are stressful and frightening; music therapy is a noninvasive holistic approach to bridging the gap between oncology patients and intensive care units.
