The Benign Comparison Scale and its relevance to Subjective Well-Being research

Abstract: This article provides a scale that purports to measure an aspect of Subjective Well-Being or a factor contributing to it. The theoretical basis for the Benign Comparison Scale is provided along with reliability and validity measures. The scale proved to be a useful predictor of SWB.
