Abstract: Young children with developmental disabilities and those at risk for delays can benefit from a variety of center and home-based interventions, Effectiveness is influenced by many factors that have been considered in recent studies: type, philosophy, and intensity of program; characteristics of the family and their level of involvement; and characteristics of the child.
