Antiplatelet aggregation potencies of the extracts of VISCUM ALBUM L.

Abstract: The extracts of Viscum album L. collected from twelve host plantsgrowing in Turkey were screened for their in vitro antiplateletactivities. Antiplatelet aggregation potencies of the extracts of Viscumalbum were varied among the host plants studied. The extracts showed thegreatest ability to inhibit platelet aggregation by extracts preparedfrom Viscum album collected from the host plants, wild apricot, pinus,apricot and wild cherry.
