Abstract: Teas produced from the drug Harpagophytum procumbens racine are a simple and cheap alternative to obtain compound solutions with harpagoside amounts up to 90 mg. The amount of harpogoside remains stable for 6 days and is neither influenced by cooking nor by adding sugar. However, teas contain different amounts to effective compounds.
