Kyberstatus - eine zeitgemäße bakteriologische Stuhldiagnostik

Abstract: Kyberstatus diagnostics deals with relevant anaerobe and aerobe bacteria of the faecal flora. By specifying and quantifying isolated strains of bacteria, it is possible to ascertain whether or not there has been a replacement of normal bacterial flora. Although the faecal flora and the flora of the large intestine are not necessarily identical, it is possible to draw conclusions on the state of the intestinal microecology by looking at the bacteria contained in a stool sample. The present article looks at this new type of stool diagnostics in terms of the underlying microbiological principles, the scope of evaluation and the therapeutic consequences.
