Vom Nutzen der Homöopathiegeschichte - insbesondere für den "ärztlichen Stand"

Abstract: The usefulness of the history of homoeopathy goes well beyond its significance in the everyday practice of physicians (as in the edition of founder Hahnemann´s case-journals). The history of homoeopathy shows how since its founding the therapy has developed out of a critical relationship to observed "reality" to attain an undocmatic character. Beyond a more discerning view of the past, this histography could also lead to more tolerant relations within the homoeopathic community, closer scrutiny of certain myths (especially of origin), reevaluations of traditional objectives (e.g. hospitals, univrsity lectureships-9, greater sophistication, a greater awareness of problematic parts of its history.
