Bestimmung der H2O2-Produktion von Neuroblastomzellen nach Stimulierung mit Hochpotenzen des Zytokins TNF-alpha durch Chemolumniszenz

Abstract: The following paper demonstrates the effects of homoeopathic high dilutions of the cytocine TNF-alpha on H2O2- production of SK-N-Sh neuroblastoma cells. H2O2 was measured using a highly sensitive chemiluminescence method (ECL), based on chemical enhancement of luminoloxidation in the presence of peroxidase and H2Oh. The does-effect relationship between TNF-aplha and H2Oh-production of SK-N-SH cells was established over the whole range from 200ng/ml TNF-alpha to D100. Interpolation yielded a wave shaped curve (phaselengh 5-6) which appeared to "ride" on a waveshaped 10th order regressioncurve (phaselengh ~35). The effects of TNF-alpha in D100 on H2O2-production were most significant (p<0,0025, Student-t-test). Strong elevations of H2O2-production compared to controles were repeatedly (in 9 of n=10 independent experiments) measured, when SK-N-SH cells were incubated in the presence of TNF-alpha D100. These results do very much support the idea that the chemiluminescence method used is suitable to demonstrate and further investigate the influence of homoeopathic high potencies on biological systems. Furthermore these results are promissing in view of a sensible complement of conventional tumortherapy.
