Abstract: In May 1995, the Nuffield Institute for Health published a report on the methodology of complementary medicine research. Entitled Researching and Evaluating Complementary Therapies: The State Of the Debate, the report revives a number of misconceptions about conventional research techniques and their application to complementary therapies.
