Rationelle Therapie chronischer Lungenerkrankungen aus der Sicht der anthroposophischen Medizin |
Abstract: An efficient therapy has to result from the understanding of pathology. On the one hand, the organ where an intrinsic or aquired weakness can exist has to be taken into consideration, on the other hand it has to be distinguished between a chronic inflammatory and a degenerative process, which might cause a proliferation. A typical weakness of an organ is present in the case of tuberculosis, a rare disease today, which is not a question of infection. The number of lung carcinomas has increased, which can be understood from the nature of the organ lung as well as from the nature of the carcinoma. In this case, the treatment with mistletoe (e.g. Iscador®) has been successful very often. The problem for the practitioner is the chronic bronchitis with the transition to pulmonary fibrosis as well as asthma, emphysema, bronchiec-tases etc.The ancient physicians at least until Paracelsus knew much better how to heal chronic diseases than today's physicians: the chronic disease is turned into an acute one, which is headed! This also shows, why bronchitis becomes chronic, it is, because the acute phase is suppressed. 'Mat e. g. antibiotics do not act on the disease but on the bacteria is known, but it is not taken into consideration. That the defence is weakened by a lowering of the fever is known in theory but not in practice. The fear of fever still dominates the "therapy". A chronic bronchitis can be "stimulated", i. e. made acute with the help of a mustard formentation or by administering Hepar sulf. D 4. Essential oils are also active in this respect, while the organ lung can be strengthened with mercury of medium potency. Asthma requires a more explicit presentation, which is described with the help of an impressive case. This is also the case with fibrosis.
