Abstract: Rolf Meermann Psychosomatische Fachklinik Bad Pyrmont Zusammenfassung Jeder Patient mit schwerer Angstsymptomatik bedarf zunächst einer somatomedizinischen Befunderhebung in der ärztlichen Sprechstunde. Die Indikation für eine fachpsychotherapeutische Behandlung im zweiten Schritt ist Sache des entsprechend qualifizierten Arztes. Die psychiatrische Differentialdiagnostik wird aus praktischen therapeutischen Erwägungen anhand folgender klassischer Erscheinungsformen dargestellt: Agoraphobie Angstneurose und Herzneurose. Am Beginn der Therapie steht eine Verhaltensanalyse. Die Differentialindikation zur ambulanten bzw. stationären Behandlung sowie für einen Gesamtbehandlungsplan schließt sich an. Als verhaltenstherapeutische Methoden im engeren Sinn werden systematische Desensibilisierung und Exposition vorgestellt wie auch abschließend die verhaltenstherapeutische Versorgungssituation in Deutschland. Abstract Treatment of anxiety disorders from the view of the behavioral therapist Every patient with severe anxiety symptoms needs a physicial examination in a medical practice first. Secondly the indication for a specific psychiatric treatment is the decision of a physician with the proper qualifications. Due to pratical views the psychiatric diagnostic is described with following classical forms: agoraphobia anxiety neurosis and cardioneurosis. The beginning of the treatment consists of the behaviour analysis. This is followed by the decision for an outpatient or hospitalized treatment as well as the general treatment plan. Systematic desensitization and exposure are introduced as specific behavior treatment techniques as well as the availability of behaviour treatment in Germany.
