Mozart and medicine in the eighteenth century |
Journal/Book: J R Soc Med. 1995; 88: 408p-413p.
Abstract: Over the years the medical history and death of Mozart have been the subject of many studies, but in spite of all this attention much remains controversial. In an attempt to resolve some of the difficulty it is useful to see his life, and that of his family as recorded in their letters, in the context of medicine in eighteenth-century Europe.
