Note: Problem formulation: How can shamanistic musical healing methods give a perspective to the relation between music and numinous symbolic experiences in music therapy? Hypothesis: Knowledge on traditional shamanism and personal experience of the shamanistic drum travel can give a perspective to music therapeutic symbolic work in several aspects: understanding of the structure of consciousness and the fundction of the music. It may also contribute til the development of new music therapeutic approaches and techniques.
