The many dimensions of transference |
Journal/Book: Journal of the Association for Music & Imagery. 1995; 4: 3-16.
Abstract: "This is the first article in a two-part series aimed at exploring how the psychodynamic concept of transference can illuminate the myriad of interactions and relationships that emerge in GIM. This, the first artcile provides a definition of transference and then examines the many different dimensions attributed to it in the literature. Each dimension provides a continuum for describing individual manifestations of transference. The second article explores the specific ways in which transferences are evoked, perceived and expressed in GIM psychotherapy."
