Screening of various VISCUM ALBUM L. samples for their possible vascular effects

Abstract: In the present study, we have investigated the vascular effects of someextracts of various Viscum album L. samples on isolated rat aortic ringpreparation. We have found that different Viscum album samples showeddifferent response profiles when tested on precontracted arterialsegments and only ethanol extracts caused significant relaxations on rataortic rings.
