Die unmittelbare Wirkung von Sauerstofftherapien bei peripheren arteriellen Durchblutungsstörungen |
Abstract: In two patient groups with peripheral arterial occlusive disease in stage 11 it has been examined retrospectively, which influence different forms of the oxygen therapy (Caspers oxygen active regeneration [C-SAR]), the hematogenic oxydation therapy (HOT) and the oxyvenation) have in different combinations on these clinical pictures. A criterion was the walking range free from pain, measured before the first treatment and immediately after the end of the therapy on an especially long computer-controlled treadmill with a constant speed of 3,5 km/h and an angle of 5%.In a group of 53 patients, who had been treated with C-SAR and HOT, a clear average increase in vitality by +153m = +104% was observed after an average treatment of 9,7 days. In the case of the additional use of oxyvenation there was an average increase in the success ratio to + 1 68,5 m = + 1 17% with 55 patients. Taking into account possible psychological factors and doing without - for ethical reasons - an untreated control group, a very significant improvement of the walking range after the oxygen therapies described above had been observed, virtually without undesired side effects.
