Kinderheilkunde als besondere Domäne der Mikrobiologischen Therapie

Abstract: The immune system of the child develops in close co-operation with the intestinal flora and that form the date of birth on. The food, beginning with the mother's milk up to the full food of the adult, is the basic condition for a healthy intestinal flora. Only a physiological flora typical for the respective age (eubiosis) guarantees optimum conditions for digestion, detoxication and development of immunity. Due to disturbing factors pathogenic microorganisms may develop colonies in the intestine (dysbiosis) which may result in disorders of the good health. The attempt is made to remove a dysbiosis through strategies developed by nutritional medicine and through microbiological theray and, thus, to restore a eubiotic condition. Depending on the symptomatology and findings further therapeutical measures are necessary. In addition thereto the microbiological theray is a basic treatment in case of various diseases during infancy.
