Abstract: The manifold methods of modern treatment of pain are inadequate and insufficient, especially as regards sciatica with or without radicular compression. Constant pain should be regarded as a challenge of finding out specific therapies better than more diagnoses. It can, however, be very well cured by methods of reflexotherapy, which are inexpensive, too. Experiences made when using alternative methods of medical treatment, which have been found with respect to pathology and pathophysiology of pain, are explained in detail. The three points of this therapy are: chiropractics, infections with procaine and allassotherapy.
