Hahnemann und die Ärzte in der frühen Pariser Zeit (1837-1842)

Abstract: Hahnemann, in volume DF5 of his manuscript diaries, mentions a large number of doctors who treated his patients before or ath the same time as he. In many cases he writes down only the names of the medicines which at the beginning of the treatment had already influenced the patient´s body. Hahnemann himself rarely sent his patients to other healers at that time. Now and then it haappened that he searched the advice of one of his homoeopathic adherents, or that he transferred an epileptic patient to a mesmerizer in order to cooperate with him. It is striking that doctors in official positions or nurses in the hospital felt attracted by his method. IN some cases they inferred disadvantages in treating their patients themselves according the homoeopathic doctrine. Later on one of Hahnemann´s patients is to become his most important protagonist for lay homoeopathy in Great Britain.
