Colonic hydrotherapy: a review of the available literature

Abstract: This paper endeavours to dispel some of the misgivings about colonic irrigation by reference to literature covering many decades of use. Nevertheless, more research is neededto evaluate the role of this procedure in the management of acute and chronic ailments.
