,Abstract: Over the last few years, epidemiological surveys and scientific research have increased our understanding of fungal disease of the intestines. Doctors now have access to cost-effective and reliable standard diagnostic techniques with which they can reach an accurate diagnosis of the fungus type and a number of germ cells. Moreover, checks for antimycotic sensitivity and, increasingly, examinations for pathogenic factors are carried out, opening the way to objective evaluation and facilitating the choice of therapy. These advances also have major economic significance. Targeting anamnesis is the chief aim of causal treatment in order to avoid recurrence. This is the context in which Microbiological Therapy should be understood, whereby the body's immune system and the regeneration of the natural intestinal flora through immunological processes are reinforced.
