Die Bedeutung pflanzlicher Stoffe in der Behandlung von Gelenkerkrankungen

Abstract: We describe a new method for the individual testing of natural substances used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. The work describes the measuring methods and the clinical results of treatments with tested natural substances in the case of rheumatoid arthritis. The in vitro procedure makes possible an individual planning of a therapy for patients with inflammatory diseases. On the basis of data from cellular biology it is certain, that the method described detects natural substances with an IL- 1 inhibiting effects in vitro in man. The clinical study shows, that the use of the selected natural substances in the case of inflammatory knee pain is connected with an analgesic effect in man.
