Zur Diskussion / Wissenschaftliche Erwiderung auf "Akupunktur: Der Positions-Artikel des Nationalen Rates gegen Gesunndheits-Betrug (NCAHF)" |
Journal/Book: Deutsche Zeitschrift für Akupunktur. 1995; 38/2: 44-50.
Abstract: This paper discusses the article by the NCAHF with regard to the method of modern Western orthodox medicine and the time-orientated system of Chinese medicine. It will be shown that the NCAHF does not always keep to the definition of "Health" as laid down by the WHO in 1946 and that modern Western medicine is not a science in itself, The philosophy of phenomenology as a scientific science is placed theoretically above the procedure of convertional medicine. Chinese medicine and "Zhen-Jiu", which in the West is not quite correctly called "acupuncture", are based on phenomenology. Furthermore it will be shown that the artificially arranged research conditions af a double-blind study cannot be transferred to medical practice. As a result of the underestmation of the subject in modern western medicine combined with an overestimation of objectivity, the article of the NCAHF is incompatible with some of the guaranteed basic rights of modern democracies. The article must moreover be rejected, because it confuses cause and effect with regard to man and natural sciences created by mankind.
