12-Jahres-Beobachtungsstudie über die Wirksamkeit der Akupunktur bei der Behandlung von verschiedenen Erkrankungen

Abstract: This paper describes a retrospective study of the effect of acupuncture therapy for a variety of illnesses. It was found that acupuncture has a good to very good effect not only for pain syndromes but also for various other illnesses or disorders and addictions. Half of the 1730 cases studied (1119 females, 611 males) demonstrated a success rate of approx. 80% or more. Based on these findings it would be desirable to include acupuncture in a holistic therapy concept both in general practice and in specializations. This would noticeably reduce the cost of treatment.
