[Homeopathy--arguments for]

A presentation of the background of homeopathy is followed by a discussion of its possibilities and limitations--also in the field of geriatrics. The high-potency problem is discussed. The results of experimental and clinical studies on the effect and efficacy of homeopathic preparations are presented. Finally, the reasons for the poor acceptance of homeopathy by clinical medicine are analysed.
