Bioelectric Phenomena in Regulatory Medicine (I)

Abstract: Biochemical processes can be looked at under biophysical aspects, too. Therefore, structural and functional characteristics also influence the results of bioelectric measurements. Acupuncture points differ from 'indifferent' cutaneous areas both structurally and functionally. Due to their structure they are specifically enabled to communicate with the remainder of the organism via matrix, vasomotor nerves and musculature. Information from this metamerically regulatory complex changes their function and thereby their measurements. According to our investigations, the measured values become significant under the influence of additional disturbing factors such as electric stimuli and orthostasis. The formation of differences is a further symptom of regulatory disintegration, which is already given in the term of Head zones and which also can be demonstrated for other clinical parameters. Regulatory disintegration means that the normally linked homogeneous course of the stimulus-reaction function is disrupted under the influence of local stress.
