Abstract: In the case of the concomitant therapy of mild and moderate burn injuries with the BICOM device at the central hospital for burns at Kiev, it was possible to make the following observations in the experimental group as compared to the control group:immediate pain relief, less itching, faster wound healing, maintenance of the number of erythrocytes and of the hemoglobin as well as a scarring process which took 20% less time.
