Erfahrungen mit analgetischer Wirkung der Magnetfeldtherapie (Kombination von Nieder- und Hochfrequenzfeldern)

Abstract: 320 patients with different pains were treated with small battery operated magnetic field devices, combining LF and HF signals. 55 of them got placebos and 265 verum devices. The instruments were put near the spot of pain over 10 minutes in one session and the treatment was repeated every day up to 3 weeks. 80% of the patients in the verum group and 25% in the placebo group had good success. Nearly 50% in the verum group had permanent success. Measured were the mobility in the case of rheumatism and the reaction time in the case of migraine. The results, calculated by means of the log likelihood ratio test (G-test) according to Woolf are very significant. The patients in the verum group with good success did not need any analgetics and were painless during the whole time of the test. Nearly 50% were totally healed. No side effects were observed.
