Abstract: The article is an account of a qualitative research method that has been developed for research in practice. It is a method where music therapist and researcher work close together at collecting, ordering and developing know-how concernin MT treatment. Concepts that are used are foucus point, side-effect, disturbance, catalyst and guide-line. The treatment and the accompanying reserach spirally pass through different phases. Each phase starts with the descirption of focus points and ends with formulating guide-lines.

A ndre grundbegreber er sideefffekt, forstyrrelse, katalysator og guide-line. Artiklen findes også i Smeijsters (1992) LOB 14.2.96
