Abstract: Students and lecturers were sent a questionnaire in order to establish their perceptions and ideas about Receptive Music Therapy in their training. Their answers reflect a variety of both personal and course-related concepts. They also show clearly that, much as the study courses themselves may differ, the focus is on active therapeutic work. As a clearly defined study area, Receptive Music Therapy is found only on the margins of most courses, if at all. Only in one course is it specifically taught.
