Musikkens funtion i den skizofrene Indre Verden - musikterapi i psykoterapeutisk behandling.

Abstract: The foundation for the author´s paper is a psychodynamic understanding og Schizophrenia, presupposing that each individual congenitally strives for development. This striving, which results in a lifelong process og internalisation, makes posssible the internalisation of the music therapy relationship. In music therapy improvisation, the sound mutually produced by client and therapist - an intrapsychic synthesis. This process allows for growth and development in the psychic stability of the schizoprenic. These theories are illustrated in the case study.
