Abstract: Discusses Jung's theories about psychological complexes and the use of picture therapy to study these complexes. The development and characteristics of the concept of complexes and association tests are reviewed. The expression of underlying complexes through symbols in memories, fantasies, dreams, and pictures is described. The therapeutic utility of patients' drawing pictures is considered.
