Active/receptive--morphological workshop report in oncology. TITLE, ORIGINAL: Aktiv rezeptiv--ein morphologischer Werkstattbericht aus der Onkologie.

Abstract: Discusses two case studies in which music therapy was used with patients who had tumors. In one instance active therapy was chosen, and in the other, passive therapy. From the perspective of morphological psychology, so-called active and receptive music therapy are by no means opposites. A session is described in which outwardly the client is at first the listener, but in which there is joint "work" on the part of the client and therapist, involving the inner (mental) and outer participation of both.
