Abstract: Describes a 4-stage program on the effectiveness of psychotherapy: (1) study of social representations of psychotherapy, (2) assessment of outcomes in 167 Ss aged 20-55 yrs, (3) follow-ups of clinical cases, and (4) cross-cultural comparisons. The relationship of psychotherapy to music therapy, occupational therapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, biological/psychiatric techniques, psychopedagogy, mental control, religion, parapsychology, and social networking is considered.
