Abstract: Together with progress, mycoses become more and more a central topic of our era. The whole digestive tract can be peregrinated by different fungi, especially by such fungi, which are a frequent component of our nutrition, e.g. milk mold (Geotrichum candidum), Penicilium camenbertii, Candida kefir as well as Saccharomyces cerevisiae and different yeasts in wine, champagne and sausages. All these fungi as well as other fungi can be detected in the faeces from case to case and must be differentiated from those fungi, which are able to cause diseases or which are partly responsible for diseases, such as e.g. Candida albicans, Candida krusei, Cryptococcus neoformans, Aspergillus fumigatus etc.Non-absorbable antimycotic agents, administered perorally, are able to counteract the multiplication of the yeast in the intestine and to destroy the yeast if they are administered in a sufficiently high dosage. Latest observations indicate, that the colonization of the intestine with fungi might be related with a number of dermatoses. In these cases it is not a matter of mycoses, the fungus is indirect, they are called trigger factors. Due to all these reasons, it is necessary to eliminate fungi from the intestine, which are facultatively pathogenous.
